Modern illustration

I found this today... A woman, Irene Maria Jacobs, creating odd but very beautiful illustrations.
I like the lack in background and her focus on the eyes - a special sort of gloomy expression there.

Here is one of her creations...



Unfortunately all I found of her was a regular blog where she's publishing her illustrations.
